I use 3 types of capacitor for replacement. Radial Tantalum and original aluminum caps. Some people like to keep their Machine as close to original as possible.
Radial are the cheaper replacement and will keep your machine happy for many years to come
Tantalum are slightly more expensive but will not need to be replaced again.
Original aluminum caps will keep the machine as close as possible to its original spec.
All 3 types of capacitors will have your Machine running flawlessly for many years to come.
Cost.
Recap of Motherboards is between 50 to 100 Euro depending on the specific board and number of caps to be replaced.
The average price for the replacement capacitors is around 10 euro (again depending on the type of cap and the board in question)
You pay all shipping costs.
I am based in Ireland and to keep shipping costs as low as possible, the ideal situation would be for you to remove the motherboard/analog board and ship just the board on its own. The board will be cleaned, recapped and returned to you 100% tested and working.
